Implements debug trace mechanism. For now, traces must be sent through USART.
At some point, SWO may be implement, but I haven't been able to have it work reliably for now

zero padding is mostly used with unsiged integers, and is quite difficult to
properly implement for signed integers. Disbaling iti n that case seems like a
good compromise
